Dial a Nerd Vouchers – Setup Support
Need help setting up your iBurst at home? Then the Dial a Nerd Setup Support Voucher is for you!
iBurst has teamed up with Dial a Nerd, the home and business IT support company, to bring you all the benefits of professional computer support.
The voucher comes in your modem box and entitles you to One free hour to set up your iBurst internet connection, a service valued at R400!
Sounds good but how and what exactly will the Dial a Nerd guy do?
Your voucher asks you to call 0861 46 37 37. Depending on your location and preference, you will be offered one of the following support options:
- Onsite Support: if you reside within the onsite coverage areas (see info below) .Dial a Nerd will book a time that is available for both you and them.
- Carry in option – Dial a Nerd will inform you of their nearest Service Centre and book you in. You simply drop off your equipment and they do the rest.
- Telephonic Support – You set up your iBurst connection with a Nerd on the line guiding you what to do.
Dial a Nerd will setup the following during the free hour:
- iBurst modem and dashboard installation
- One-on-one training on how to connect to the internet using iBurst
- Optimising signal for best possible speeds (onsite support only)
- If required, external Antenna installation up to 3 meters (Antenna needs to be purchased separately or within 7 days)
- Email set-up
How do I take advantage of this offer as an iBurst Subscriber?
- If you are a new subscriber, your Dial a Nerd voucher is in your modem box. (If your box has no voucher, please inform Dial a Nerd.)
- Call 0861 46 37 37 to arrange a time for a Dial a Nerd technician to assist you - you will need your iBurst account number or username to make this appointment.
- Lastly, please keep the voucher handy on the day of the onsite or carry in appointment
- Please note that vouchers are only valid for three months from activation of your modem.

Support Options in detail:
Onsite Support: (a Nerd comes to you)
Coverage areas:
- Entire Gauteng region,
- Cape Town metropolitan area,
- Durban metropolitan area,
- East London and Port Elizabeth
- Bloemfontein
Should you reside outside these coverage areas, we recommend you book the carry-in (you go to the nearest Nerd centre) support option.
Carry In Support: (you go to the Nerds)
Dial a Nerd will confirm your residential address and then offer you the closest Nerd Service Centre Location and book you in.
Please ensure you bring along your voucher and remember your iBurst username.
