HIGH LATENCY TO BE EXPECTED DUE TO SAT-3 CABLE MAINTENANCE
Please note that your browsing may be affected due to a SAT-3 cable issue. While the cable is under maintenance South African Internet users may experience slow international speeds.
Although the iBurst network is independent of Seacom, connectivity to certain destinations within South Africa may be degraded, especially to destinations which have a high reliance on Seacom peering, with whom we do not peer directly.
Although we have not been given a expected time to resolution, we will be sure to keep you all updated on this issue.
