Why is it free? What's the catch?
086 numbers cost less to host, which helps to cover fax and support costs.
How much will it cost the sender?
It costs R2.02 per minute (incl. VAT). Sending faxes to email takes half the time, which saves on multiple page sends
How many Fax2Email numbers can our company have?
As many as you want! Each email address (or alias) gets its own 086 number
What if we already have RightFax or WinFax?
Unlike Fax2Email, RightFax and WinFax need phone lines, servers and licenses to run.
How safe are my faxes?
086 numbers can’t be intercepted, so they're just as safe as your emails
How big are the faxes – is this going to slow down our servers?
Faxes are compressed so that they’re really small (about 30KB)
What if I my faxes get lost?
We store all received faxes for 30 days so if you lose yours we can resend them.
Can my fax number be rerouted to a new email address if mine changes?
